Junior Summer English Homestay Programme

This academy offers students a combination of General English Classes and a first-hand introduction to the global world of communication and business combined with a wide variety of social activities and excursions.

In the morning, classes will improve grammar, vocabulary, reading writing, listening and comprehension skills as well as building confidence in communicating through English.

In the afternoon, the academy will focus on introducing students with an entrepreneurial flair to practical skills, leadership skills, case studies, mentors and inspirational people, nurturing their emerging talents and equipping them with the skills necessary to be a high achiever when they leave school and University.

Through a combination of leadership and business projects, practical taught classes and guest lectures, it sets out to develop enquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who want to make a positive impact on the global stage.

Accommodation is provided by host families that have been carefully selected from the local area close to Yeats College Galway campus.
